Mobile applications for improving musician workflows and practices.
For iPad & iPhone.
Our mission is to bridge creative exploration and technology through user-experience applied functionality and designs that reflect artist workflows.
With the rise in generative AI, there is a growing fear of AI replacing artists. Our goal is not to replace output but to reduce as many technical frustrations in process for artists to allow for their greatest expression.
Influence from multiple music traditions
We create tools from common practice methods from a variety of music styles (such as classical, fiddle, jazz, etc.) to suit all sorts of different learning workflows. Whether you want to work on ear training, music notation, tuning to different tuning systems, or more, we have you covered! See how we’re doing it.
Strong baseline of tools
We take familiar music tools (metronomes, tuners, drones, etc.) and extend them into more customizability. We then make them available in all of our music tools so you always have a common baseline of tools however you practice. See how we’re doing it.
Connect with others
By making practice materials more customizable, teachers can direct their students’ practice to be related to the materials they are working on. Our tools take tech complications out of rehearsals, allowing you to focus on connecting with your fellow musicians. See how we’re doing it.
Music Practice Room focuses on exploratory designs and iterative prototyping to improve the music playing experience. If you’d like to follow our explorations, sign up for our newsletter.
The Chamber Music Reader is a PDF reader designed for chamber musicians practicing, rehearsing, and performing their parts. Quickly switch between your part and the score with linked measure numbers. Easily mark up music with quicker workflows around common music markings.
The Chamber Music Reader will be available for beta testing on specific pieces in early 2026. Please sign up for the newsletter if you are interested in trying it out.
Influenced by jazz scale patterns, the Scale Builder lets you build custom scale exercises from small pattern units, letting you create scales across your choice of pitch range, clef, and key, including creating scales over chord changes and using different scales and modes.
Scheduled for beta testing in 2026. Sign up for the newsletter if you are interested in trying it out.
Use common tools (metronomes, drones, loops, etc.) to create a sequence of practice elements that you can cycle through easily while practicing. Break down tunes you’re learning by ear into smaller sections, practice pieces with multiple metronome settings without needing to stop and reset the metronome, and tune your playing to changing chord drones.
Scheduled for beta testing in 2026. Sign up for the newsletter if you are interested in trying it out.
Based on learning tunes by ear in the fiddle style, Tune Boards allow you to collect different media types around a tune or piece of music and access them easily during practice and rehearsals. Combine YouTube videos, recordings, PDFs, and more to understand a piece of music on multiple levels.
Scheduled for beta testing in 2026. Sign up newsletter updates to learn more.
